Job description
Modernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. The System Automation Software Engineer will be responsible for:
- Utilizing a test framework to execute manual and automated tests.
- Authoring tests utilizing Cucumber and Playwright.
- Knowledgeable in Microservices design & architecture, CI/CD, Test frameworks and automation, Agile Methodology.
- Execute load and performance testing, chaos testing, functional testing and end-to-end testing.
- Agile development and delivery of software.
- Communication and collaboration: Software Development is a team-oriented discipline. Engineers need to be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders.

Requirements
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.

An active Top Secret clearance with polygraph (CI poly within 7 years). Desired Skills:

Playwright, Cucumber, JMeter, Swagger (or similar API tool), Selenium Tools: Cypress, 508 testing tools (JAWS or NVDA)

We support our employees, so they can support our mission., Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $150,800 - $265,880. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
