Job description
The Provider Applications Educator works under the direction of the Clinical Systems Supervisor / Senior Analyst, and is primarily responsible for training medical staff on the use of clinical systems. This role ensures that medical staff providers are confident and proficient in navigating the EHR through training, consistent rounding with the providers, and follow-up.
Schedule: Full Time
- Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm to be discussed in interview
- Must be available to work occasional early mornings or late afternoons/evenings as needed to facilitate provider and student onboarding
Requirements
Do you have experience in Technical user customer support?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * Analytical, customer service, and communication skills (including phone and email etiquette)
- Advanced computer skills, including the ability Microsoft Office and Excel, and the ability to troubleshoot computer applications that may be unfamiliar
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing environment
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- Ability to explain technical information to non-technical users in a clear, supportive manner
- Ability to adapt training style to meet the needs of different learners
Minimum Work Experience:
- 2-4 years office management and/or project management experience; other applicable experience will be considered
- 1 year of acute hospital experience or ambulatory clinic experience, preferred
- Experience with working with nurses, medical providers, and physicians, preferred
Minimum Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some college level work, preferred
- Proficient in medical terminology, preferred
