Job description

We are seeking an experienced IT Business Partner to serve as the primary technology liaison for Finance and General & Administrative (G&A) functions. This individual will partner closely with Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Corporate Communications, Corporate Services, Compliance, and Internal Audit teams to align technology solutions with business objectives.

The initial priority for this role will be leading the implementation of Procurement capabilities within the Oracle platform, working closely with Finance, Procurement, and business stakeholders to optimize processes, drive adoption, and ensure successful delivery. Beyond the implementation, this individual will act as a strategic business partner, helping identify, prioritize, and execute technology initiatives that support the company's corporate functions and operational excellence goals., Oracle Procurement Implementation

  • Serve as the business-facing IT lead for the implementation of Oracle Procurement capabilities.
  • Partner with Finance, Procurement, and key stakeholders to gather requirements, define future-state processes, and drive solution design.
  • Coordinate with implementation partners, vendors, and internal technical teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, risks, testing, training, and change management activities.
  • Ensure solutions align with business objectives, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.

Finance & G&A Business Partnership

  • Act as the primary IT Business Partner supporting Finance and broader G&A functions.
  • Build strong relationships with Finance, HR, Legal, Corporate Communications, Corporate Services, Compliance, and Internal Audit stakeholders.
  • Translate business needs into technology strategies, roadmaps, and implementation plans.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes through automation, system enhancements, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to functional leaders on technology capabilities, risks, and investment priorities.

Systems & Process Management

  • Support and enhance Oracle and related enterprise applications supporting Finance and G&A operations.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to prioritize enhancements, upgrades, and new technology initiatives.
  • Ensure systems and processes meet governance, security, audit, and compliance requirements, including SOX controls where applicable.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering, solution evaluation, vendor management, testing, and user acceptance activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across supported business functions.

Governance & Compliance

  • Partner with Compliance, Internal Audit, and Finance teams to support SOX-related controls and audits.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation, controls, and governance processes are maintained.
  • Support risk management and regulatory compliance initiatives impacting corporate systems and processes.

Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience serving as an IT Business Partner, Business Systems Analyst, Product Owner, or similar business-facing technology role.
  • Experience supporting Finance organizations and enterprise financial systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP, including implementation and/or support of Oracle Procurement modules.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional business and technology initiatives.
  • Strong requirements gathering, process improvement, stakeholder management, and project delivery skills.
  • Experience working with compliance-driven environments, including SOX controls and audit support.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting Human Resources, Legal, Corporate Communications, or other G&A functions.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP implementations.
  • Knowledge of procurement, sourcing, purchasing, accounts payable, and financial operations.
  • Experience working in publicly traded or highly regulated environments.
  • Project management experience and familiarity with Agile and/or traditional delivery methodologies.

The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen with hands-on Oracle ERP experience and excels at partnering with business leaders. They are equally comfortable leading a major enterprise implementation, facilitating stakeholder discussions, navigating compliance requirements, and serving as a strategic advisor across multiple corporate functions.
