Job description
The Junior IT Implementation Engineer supports the implementation, configuration, testing, integration, and post-go-live support of enterprise systems including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Yard Management Systems (YMS), CRM, Workflow, and related business applications. This role works closely with operations, business stakeholders, vendors, and senior implementation engineers to ensure successful system deployments and process improvements., * Assist with software implementation projects from requirements gathering through go-live and hypercare support.
- Participate in discovery sessions and document business processes, workflows, and operational requirements.
- Support system configuration, master data setup, user roles, security profiles, and business rules.
- Prepare and maintain implementation documentation, SOPs, process flows, and training materials.
- Coordinate data migration activities, including data validation, cleansing, and testing.
- Execute test plans, test scripts, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Troubleshoot application, configuration, and integration issues under guidance from senior team members.
- Assist with deployment, cutover activities, and post-go-live support.
- Monitor support tickets and help resolve user-reported issues in a timely manner.
- Provide end-user training and knowledge transfer sessions.
Integration & Technical Support
- Support integrations between business systems using APIs, EDI, flat files, and middleware platforms.
- Assist in data mapping, interface testing, and validation activities.
- Perform SQL queries for data analysis, troubleshooting, and validation.
- Investigate integration failures and escalate issues when necessary.
- Maintain system documentation including interface specifications and configuration records.
Requirements
Do you have experience in SQL?, * Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Technology, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in software implementation, business systems support, supply chain systems, or related IT roles.
- Basic understanding of business processes, supply chain operations, or enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies and business processes quickly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or project experience with WMS, TMS, YMS, ERP, CRM, or workflow systems.
- Exposure to APIs, JSON, XML, EDI, or system integrations.
- Experience creating process flows or business documentation.
- Familiarity with Excel, Visio, Draw.io, Lucidchart, Jira, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of warehouse, logistics, transportation, or distribution center operations.
