Systems Architect

• Design and oversee system solutions utilizing technologies such as Pegasystems, Java, Python, JavaScript, SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server), NoSQL options, and RESTful APIs.
• Lead the integration of cloud services including AWS and Azure, ensuring optimal deployment of virtualization (VMware), containerization (Kubernetes), and DevOps practices for continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system design specifications that meet security standards-covering firewalls, VPNs, RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), information security protocols-and ensure compliance with industry best practices.
• Manage system administration tasks across operating systems such as Windows, Linux, UNIX, and their associated scripting languages including Bash and Shell Scripting for automation purposes.
• Optimize network infrastructure through effective load balancing, DNS management, DHCP configuration, and computer networking principles to enhance system reliability and performance.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of system architecture proposals; provide guidance on system design improvements; ensure adherence to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies; and support Agile development processes.

Do you have experience in JavaScript?, * Extensive experience in service-oriented architecture (SOA) and solution architecture design.

• Proficiency with Pegasystems platform development and deployment.
• Strong background in system administration across multiple operating systems including Windows, Linux/Unix environments.
• Deep understanding of computer science fundamentals such as algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
• Expertise in systems engineering concepts involving virtualization (VMware), container orchestration (Kubernetes), cloud platforms (AWS & Azure), and DevOps tools like Jenkins and Git.
• Knowledge of database management systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle PL/SQL, Microsoft SQL Server; familiarity with NoSQL databases is a plus.
• Skilled in network security practices including firewalls, VPNs, DNS management, DHCP configuration, RBAC policies, and information security standards.
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration using programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, Python; scripting skills in Bash or Shell Scripting for automation tasks.
• Familiarity with load balancing techniques; understanding of microservices architecture; experience implementing CI/CD pipelines within Agile frameworks.
