Job description
Enterprise architecture and IT modernization: supporting automated information systems and technical architectures across acquisition, logistics, engineering, configuration management, business management, and financial management mission areas. PAE Fires' mission includes researching, designing, testing, implementing, and maintaining automated information systems and technical architectures for those functional areas.
Digital transformation / MBSE environments: The PWS specifically calls for comprehensive support for MBSE to enhance digital modernization of weapon systems and use MBSE methodologies/tools for design, development, integration, and lifecycle management.
Information architecture across enterprise IT components: including data input/output devices, surge/UPS, computers, servers, virtualization, networks, communication devices, and peripheral entities.
Systems and network management awareness: especially VMware ESXi and RedHat OpenShift, because the proposal instructions require the technical approach to address "Systems & Network Management (VMware ESXi, RedHat OpenShift)."
Requirements
Cybersecurity / RMF / NIST familiarity: The PWS requires cybersecurity support for RMF, NIST SP 800-53, and other standards, and the technical approach must address Cybersecurity/RMF.
Application development and sustainment awareness: including MagicDraw, DOORS, Windchill, and related systems, because the proposal instructions call those out as technical approach areas.
Continuity / disaster recovery / resilient architecture planning: including BIA, high availability, redundancy, load balancing, data mirroring, replication, and contingency planning across enterprises.
DoD/Army IT environment experience: including Army IM&T standards, AR 25-1, AR 25-2, NIST guidance, and DISA STIG awareness.
Experience: 10 plus years Education requirements: Masters
