Akkodis is hiring for Senior Backend Software Engineer (Java & Go) - Onsite Hybrid role is a Contract with a client located in Media PA 19063, Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Backed Software Engineer with expertise in both Java and Go to support the development and maintenance of critical backend services. This role requires a hands-on engineer who thrives in complex environments and can quickly ramp up to new challenges while delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.
The ideal candidate is results-oriented, technically versatile, and experienced in modern microservices and cloud-native architectures.

Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Java/Spring Boot
- Go
- Java/Spring Boot development
- Go development
- Proficient with Postgres, MongoDB and Couchbase databases (Not necessarily all three)
- Strong Kubernetes/Docker experience
- Strong API development experience
- Strong Kafka experience and message driven architectures
- Proficient with AI including Copilot/Claude
- Knowledge of performance testing tools including K6 a plus
- Knowledge of BDD Cucumber a plus
- Knowledge of Istio, AWS (EKS, MSK) a plus
Benefits & conditions
Pay Range: $75-80/hr on w2. The pay may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
