Requirements

The individual should be proficient in Engineering solutions across Compute, Storage, Network, Database Management Systems, & Access Management (including Secrets Mgmt. and PKI), Amazon Web Services & Kubernetes based compute.

Experience and Skills to include:

  • Hypervisor / OS / Host based firewall / Application Stack / Network / & Access Management

  • EC2, OpenShift or EKS (Kubernetes) / SDN Networking / Federation / Multi-Region access and Disaster Recovery / F5 GTM

  • AWS Landing Zone fundamentals including: Account structure, VPC, Security Groups, Cloud WAN, Private Link & VPC Endpoint Connectors, EBS/EFS/FSx/S3, NLB

  • Solid understanding and experience in Database Services delivery & availability (AWS RDS, AWS Aurora Global)

Shared Service Application Integration to products such as

  • Apigee (API Gateway)

  • PING (reverse proxy)

  • Redis (Database/Caching)

  • Confluent Kafka (streaming)

  • IBM MQ (message queue), * Bachelor's degree

  • At least 5 years of experience in an infrastructure engineering discipline

  • At least 2 Years experience in cross functional engineering (multi-discipline: compute + storage + network + database management systems + shared services integration + AWS Platform)
