Job description
The qualified candidate will work with a team of IT Operations staff to maintain and administer Windows servers and ensure continuous monitoring is maintained, as well system vulnerabilities are mitigated in a timely manner through patching, configuration, or other techniques and actions such as ensuring all server OS are kept at a supported and baselined version. Inspect and monitor server room and server performance. Support backup administration and backup process management.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science or IT from an accredited university and experience with network and server administration
Experience providing maintenance and operation of computer systems and network through installation of new hardware and software
Knowledge of troubleshooting of systems
Experience in administration of shared resources
Experience providing Horizon view support
Experience in Exchange management and Backup management
Experience software compatibility testing
Knowledge of networking, Microsoft platforms, Linux and Cisco equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
VMware Certifications
Microsoft Certifications
Cisco Certifications
Experience in IT inventory management / inventory tracking
Experience imaging new computers and managing PC images via SCCM or equivalent tool.
