Job description
Robert Walters is working in partnership with a leading international business with operations across the UK, Ireland, and Europe, specializing in the distribution of essential products and services that support a wide range of industries. Due to continued growth, they are keen to appoint an experienced an IT Support Team Leader to be based out of the Birmingham offices on a hybrid basis.
IT Support Team Leader: Duties
- Provide line management & leadership to the support team
- Provide hands on technical support
- Smooth operation of internal IT systems
- Support internal and external stakeholders
- Develop teams' capability and line management
- Resolve service requests and incidents
- Onsite and remote support
- Manage IT support ticket systems
- Manage technical licenses and work with vendors
- Install/Update applications
- Setup/Manage existing user accounts - permissions, passwords
Requirements
- Line management of a technical team
- Budget management/cost reporting
- Experience of managing through an ITSM system/managing services
- Technical project management experience
- Cyber security tools - EDR, anti-virus, vulnerability management, Scripting
- Support of office applications: O365, Teams, Email, Mobile
- Firewall Config. - Palo Alto devices
- Network Protocols - VPNs, Lans DNs, DHCP, Wireless
- Managing accounts: Active Directory, Entra ID
- IT Hardware experience: Desktop, Laptops, iOS, Android
