Job description

Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable cloud and AI solutions for state government systems. This role combines AWS cloud architecture, AI/ML expertise, and enterprise modernization to improve public services and enable data-driven decision-making., * Design and implement AWS-based cloud architectures (IaaS/PaaS/hybrid)

  • Lead development of AI/ML and GenAI solutions (e.g., chatbots, LLM applications)
  • Modernize legacy applications and enterprise systems
  • Ensure security, compliance, and ethical AI practices
  • Evaluate and recommend AI/ML platforms and tools (AWS SageMaker, PyTorch, etc.)
  • Work with stakeholders across multiple government agencies
  • Mentor architects and provide technical leadership
  • Ensure alignment with NIST, FedRAMP, and other security standards

Requirements

  • 10+ years in IT / software engineering
  • 5+ years in enterprise architecture roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud architecture
  • Experience designing and deploying AI/ML solutions
  • Knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, and NLP
  • Experience with cloud-native and hybrid architectures, * AWS (Solutions Architecture, cloud-native design)
  • AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, SageMaker)
  • GenAI / LLM application development
  • System integration and API architecture
  • Secure architecture design, * AWS Certified Solutions Architect
  • Experience in state/local or federal government projects
  • Knowledge of NIST 800-53, NIST AI RMF, FedRAMP
  • Experience with GenAI chatbots and enterprise AI systems
  • Azure ML or Google Vertex AI exposure
  • Prior work in digital transformation programs
