Job description
As a Google Sales Specialist, you will drive the growth of the Google + NetApp Cloud Storage business across Germany and the broader DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). This is a quota-carrying role focused on expanding an existing customer base, driving new workloads, and selectively acquiring new customers.
You will accelerate Google Cloud adoption and storage-led transformation by working directly with enterprise customers and leveraging the partner ecosystem, including Google Cloud Marketplace, SIs, and ISVs. The role operates in a mature, highly regulated market, with a strong focus on data sovereignty and compliance (sovereign cloud)., Grow and expand enterprise accounts through new workloads, use cases, and business units Build and manage a strong pipeline, driving deals from origination to close Drive Google Cloud consumption through modernization, migration, and data/AI use cases Engage C-level and senior stakeholders across business and IT Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles typical in Germany Position solutions across: Data modernization & hybrid/multi-cloud AI/ML and data-driven applications High-performance workloads (incl. EDA where relevant) Work closely with Google Cloud, partners, and ecosystem players to scale impact Address data sovereignty, security, and regulatory requirements Provide market feedback to support GTM and product strategy.
Requirements
10+ years of enterprise sales experience in Germany (DACH) Proven track record of meeting/exceeding quota and growing business in existing accounts Strong experience in complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles Solid understanding of cloud and data solutions (GCP, AWS, or Azure) Experience driving account expansion, pipeline creation, and new logo acquisition Background in working with partners (SIs, ISVs, channel, marketplace models) Understanding of regulated industries, data sovereignty, and compliance requirements Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Fluent in German and English Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership and execution focus, At NetApp, we embrace a hybrid working environment designed to strengthen connection, collaboration, and culture for all employees.
