Job description
As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering trusted data insights and analytics that support business and product decision-making across the organization. This roleis responsible foranalyzing complex datasets, developing reporting solutions and dashboards, and translating data into actionable insights that improve operational effectiveness and support strategic initiatives.
Working closely with Data Analysts, BI Analysts, Data Engineers, Data QA Engineers, Data Scientists, and Product Managers, you will help ensure data products areaccurate, scalable, and aligned with evolving business needs as Walker & Dunlop continues to grow as a data-driven organization.
Primary Responsibilities
- Analyze and curate data sources to support business and product stakeholders in making informed decisions.
- Lead key components of the analytical lifecycle, including data exploration, analysis, reporting, and insight delivery.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Develop andmaintainPower BI dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions.
- Perform data wrangling, transformation, and analysis using SQL and enterprise analytical databases.
- Define and document datasets, business logic, and reporting definitions to support consistent data usage.
- Partner with data and product teams to support data governance, data quality, and data management processes.
- Analyze user engagement, operational, and product data toidentifytrends and opportunities for improvement.
- Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices in analytics, visualization, and stakeholder collaboration.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements

Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.

6+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics roles withdemonstratedownership of end-to-end analytical projects.

Strong experience working with enterprise analytical databases such as Snowflake, Redshift,BigQuery, or similar technologies.

Experience developing dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.

Experience with SQL, data transformation, and analytical reporting workflows.

Experience with Python and geospatial analysis preferred.

Real estate, financial services, or related industry experience preferred. Knowledge,Skillsand Abilities
