Job description

e are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Principal Systems Analyst to lead the analysis, design, and delivery of complex system solutions across the University's Key Operational Systems (Student Records System, HR/Payroll System and Finance System). This is a senior role responsible for driving system modernisation initiatives and ensuring that business requirements are translated into robust, scalable technical solutions. You will work closely with key stakeholders and third-party suppliers (where necessary) to deliver high-quality system enhancements.

Requirements

Strong problem-solving skills, plus the ability to manage competing and quickly changing priorities is key to this role. You should also have a strong attention to detail and a passion for improving systems and user experience., Significant experience in a senior systems analyst role within a complex organisation, preferably within the HE sector

  • A proven ability working with enterprise systems
  • A strong understanding of data structures, databases, and SQL
  • A strong understanding and experience working with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • The ability to ensure solutions adhere to data governance, security, and compliance standards
  • The ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and specifications
