The work could involve designing data pipelines, establishing data quality standards, and collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.What you would doTypical responsibilities could include:

  • Designing data architectures and pipeline solutions that align with business and technical requirements
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and document data requirements
  • Establishing and maintaining data quality standards and governance frameworks
  • Working with distributed systems, APIs and microservices to integrate data sources
  • Supporting the implementation of CI/CD practices for data infrastructure
  • Mentoring junior team members and contributing to technical standards
  • Evaluating and recommending appropriate technologies and platforms

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Proven experience designing and implementing data architectures and pipelines
  • Strong proficiency with SQL and demonstrated experience with data quality analysis
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP
  • Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of APIs, microservices and distributed systems architecture
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
  • Capability in at least one programming language such as Python, Java or .NET
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Understanding of data governance, compliance requirements and CSDR principles

Nice-to-have experience could include:

  • Background with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC or SAP RISE environments
  • Exposure to business process modelling (BPMN) or data modelling (UML)
  • Experience implementing Power BI or similar analytics platforms
  • Familiarity with Linux and Windows environments
  • Knowledge of QARA, QMS or quality management frameworks
