Job description
As an FPGA Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, simulating and implementing FPGA solutions using VHDL and/or Verilog.
- Developing and optimising real-time Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms, including filters, FFTs, mixers and modulation techniques.
- Designing and supporting high-speed digital interfaces such as ADC, DAC and PCIe.
- Working closely with embedded software, hardware and systems engineers to integrate FPGA firmware into larger system architectures.
- Supporting hardware bring-up, debugging and validation using laboratory test equipment including oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers and signal generators.
Requirements
We're looking for engineers with experience in some or all of the following:
- FPGA design and development using VHDL and/or Verilog.
- Digital Signal Processing (DSP) implementation.
- MATLAB/Simulink for modelling and simulation.
- Embedded C/C++ and/or Python for testing, automation or hardware interaction.
- Knowledge of digital communications, RF systems or signal processing principles.
- Experience working within complex engineering environments.
