AI-Native Full-Stack Developer

We are looking for a mid-level developer who is as comfortable prompting a large language model as they are writing in PHP other languages. This is not a traditional backend role as it sits at the intersection of software engineering, AI tooling, and creative problem-solving. We want to be on the frontier, experimenting, learning and pushing ahead. You will build and maintain web applications in PHP (but not limited to) while actively integrating AI capabilities, automation pipelines, and third-party platform APIs into everything you touch.

You will join a small, fast-moving team where your work has direct visibility and impact. We expect you to bring strong foundational PHP skills and a genuine curiosity for, and practical experience with the AI-native development landscape., AI-driven development

• Design, build, and maintain robust web applications and APIs using standard web technologies such as PHP (8.x), JavaScript, etc.
• Work and customize coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, etc.
• Write clean, testable, well-documented code and participate in code reviews
• Manage relational databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL)

DevOps

· Automate deployment using GitLab CI/CD pipelines

· Setup deployment hosts using Docker

AI & Automation Integration

• Integrate LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.) into our products and internal tooling
• Build and maintain AI-powered workflows - loop engineering, agents, and model orchestration
• Design and implement automation pipelines
• Stay current with fast-moving AI tooling and proactively identify opportunities to apply it

Multi-Platform & Cross-Stack Work

• Integrate with SaaS platforms, third-party APIs, and webhooks across a wide range of stacks
• Work with JavaScript / TypeScript and frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or similar) as well as PHP backends
• Deploy and manage services on cloud platforms and containerised environments using Docker
• Collaborate across the stack - you are not siloed into backend only

Collaboration & Ownership

• Work closely with product, design, and leadership in a lean startup environment
• Own features end-to-end: from scoping and architecture through to delivery and monitoring
• Contribute to technical decisions and help shape engineering practices as the team grows

• 2-5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong, demonstrable PHP skills - including OOP, design patterns, and a major framework.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML APIs or LLMs into real products (not just side projects).
• Practical experience with at least one automation platform or pipeline tool.
• Comfortable working across the stack and picking up new languages, tools, and platforms quickly.
• Solid understanding of REST API design, authentication (OAuth, JWT), and web security fundamentals.
• Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployments
• Strong written and verbal communication - you can articulate technical decisions clearly.

4. Desirable Skills

• Experience with headless CMS, e-commerce platforms.
• Contributions to open-source projects or a visible personal/professional portfolio.
• Exposure to prompt engineering methodologies or AI agent frameworks.
