We're looking for experienced Scrum Masters to support agile teams across dynamic projects in technology, engineering and professional services. Roles of this type could involve working with cross-functional teams to improve delivery performance, remove blockers and drive agile adoption across organisations navigating complex digital transformation and product development initiatives.What you would doTypical responsibilities could include:
- Facilitating agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews) and coaching teams on agile practices
- Removing blockers and obstacles that impact team velocity and delivery performance
- Mentoring team members and stakeholders on agile methodologies and continuous improvement
- Collaborating with product owners on user story creation, backlog refinement and stakeholder engagement
- Supporting teams in delivering end-to-end project outcomes with clear visibility on risks, issues and governance
- Driving agile adoption and helping teams improve their delivery maturity
- Working across multi-workstream programmes to coordinate delivery and maintain alignment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or agile coach, supporting cross-functional delivery teams
- Strong understanding of agile frameworks, ceremonies and lean principles
- Experience facilitating user story creation, backlog refinement and sprint delivery cycles
- Demonstrated ability to remove blockers, manage risks and improve team performance
- Experience working in technology, engineering or professional services environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification
- Willingness to travel to contract locations as required (Manchester, Birmingham or Leeds areas)
Nice-to-have experience could include:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certification
- Experience with SAP, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) or microservices-based delivery
- Background in programme governance or multi-workstream coordination
- Knowledge of BPMN, UML or technical delivery practices
