Job description

This leader will identify and prioritize high-value use cases,re-architect workflows and operating models aligned to Lean Mindset & strategy,drive delivery of AI initiatives, build adoption across the organization, and ensure measurable business impactto harness AI as a source of sustained enterprise advantage. The role will also be responsible for developing selective external partnerships and working closely with the internal Foundry to accelerate delivery and scale solutions.

The position will initially lead a small team of project managers and data analysts and operate across a broad cross-functional network including operations, engineering, project management, commercial, supply chain, IT, digital, legal, compliance, and enterprise teams., AI Strategy and Business Alignment

  • Partner with the COO and Business Line Leader to define the AI vision, priorities, and transformation roadmap for Grid Systems Integration.
  • Identify and prioritize AI use cases that improve operational efficiency, execution performance, quality, and productivity.
  • Ensure AI initiatives are aligned with business priorities and focused on practical, measurable outcomes.

Delivery of AI Initiatives

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of AI initiatives from opportunity identification through pilot, deployment, scaling, and value realization.
  • Build and manage a portfolio of initiatives with a balance of near-term impact and longer-term capability development.
  • Ensure strong program management, stakeholder alignment, and delivery discipline across all initiatives.

Operational Impact and Value Creation

  • Work with business and functional leaders to improve core processes using AI and advanced analytics.
  • Focus on use cases across areas such as engineering productivity, project execution, tendering, planning, supply chain, quality, reporting, and functional productivity.
  • Define and track KPIs to ensure measurable impact in areas such as cycle time, cost, quality, delivery performance, and adoption.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop an initial small team of project managers and data analysts supporting the AI transformation agenda.
  • Set priorities, operating rhythm, and governance for the team.
  • Build a strong transformation capability over time in line with business needs.

Internal and External Ecosystem Leadership

  • Work closely with the internal Foundry to leverage existing AI, data, digital, and technology capabilities and accelerate solution deployment.
  • Act as the key interface between the business and the Foundry to translate business priorities into scalable solutions.
  • Develop and manage external partnerships with technology providers, startups, and other relevant partners where these can accelerate transformation and business value.

Change Management and Governance

  • Drive adoption of AI-enabled ways of working across the organization.
  • Build awareness, culture, trust, and capability in the use of AI across business teams.
  • Establish governance for prioritization, execution, value tracking, and responsible AI deployment.
  • Ensure alignment with company policies related to data, cyber security, privacy, legal, and compliance.

TEAM STRUCTURE

This role will initially lead a small team including:

  • Project Managers
  • Data Analysts

The role will also work through a broad cross-functional and matrixed network across the business, the Foundry, enterprise teams, and external partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
  • Significant experience in business transformation, operations, digital transformation, AI, analytics, or program leadership
  • Proven track record of delivering cross-functional initiatives with measurable business impact
  • Strong understanding of AI, analytics, automation, and digital technologies, with the ability to apply them to business challenges
  • Experience leading small teams and working effectively in a matrix organization
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
  • Experience working with both internal enterprise capabilities and external partners

Preferred:

  • Advanced degree such as MBA or Master's in a relevant field
  • Experience in electrification, power systems, grid, infrastructure, engineering, or project-based business environments
  • Experience working with internal digital, data, or innovation organizations such as a Foundry
  • Familiarity with AI governance, data governance, cyber security, and compliance requirements

Benefits & conditions

**For candidates applying to a U.S. based position , the pay range for this position is between $ 152,400 and $254,000 . The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
