Job description
We are seeking an experienced ICT Test Technician with extensive expertise in electronics manufacturing and test environments. This role involves collaboration with design engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure effective testing and quality assurance processes., * Develop, implement, and optimize ICT test programs.
- Set up, configure, and maintain ICT equipment.
- Diagnose ICT failures using output files, multimeters, bridges, oscilloscopes, VNAs, and DMMs.
- Troubleshoot electronic circuits and identify solder defects using IPC-610 standards.
- Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain ICT test documentation, test plans, and setup instructions.
- Record failure reasons in ICT database and analyze first-pass yield and final yield.
- Generate weekly Excel reports on ICT rework and work in progress (WIP).
- Work closely with design engineering, manufacturing, quality, and test engineering teams.

Requirements

- Strong ability to troubleshoot and debug using ICT equipment.
- Knowledge in electronics manufacturing, with a preference for SMT.
- Understanding of PCB design, components, and circuit theory.
- Hands-on solder inspection and repair experience
- Experience with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in test environments, automated test systems, and test management software.
- Hands-on soldering experience, including through-hole and PCB-level repair.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools and assembling components.
- Experience building or modifying test fixtures or harnesses.
- Associate's Degree required; engineering degree preferred for higher classification.
- 1+ year of hands-on electronics, technician, or manufacturing experience.
Work Environment
The position involves working in a dynamic electronics manufacturing environment with a focus on SMT processes. The role requires hands-on use of test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies. Candidates should be comfortable working in a lab, manufacturing, or test environment, particularly in the automotive sector. Documentation and analysis will be conducted using tools like Excel. The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
