The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level System Administrator to join the team in Berkeley, MO or Hazelwood, MO .
This position supports the Training Systems or Flight Test programs, part of Boeing's integrated defense portfolio to meet customers' rapidly evolving needs across the spectrum of global conflict. The team's performance and reliability delivers confidence in an uncertain world. As a System Administrator and member of the team, you will help build, optimize, and secure the technology that delivers strategic and tactical mobility solutions to support the warfighter mission.
The ideal candidate will have experience installing, configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting a secure network, with additional experience in patch management, application support, and information assurance. They will collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure a seamless integration of hardware, software, and networking components. Domestic or international travel may be required, contingent upon program need.
Position Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain multi-platform systems hardware, software, and components utilizing pre-existing or self-created automated processes

Perform the troubleshooting and restoration of routine to complex computing service operations (backups/restores, networking, and domain-related functions)

Build and maintain information systems that comply with Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide/Risk Management Framework (JSIG/RMF) security requirements

Integrate and configure security solutions (McAfee, Splunk, Host-Based Security System (HBSS)) into information systems

Develop custom Windows and Linux images for deployment

Integrate security solutions into information systems

Participate in the planning and execution of upgrades and patches for operating systems and software

Develop training guides, knowledge management articles, and documentation of processes and procedures

Deploy and manage virtual machines on any virtualization platform

Provide comprehensive software and integration support in closed environments

Automate tasks utilizing PowerShell, bash, or other platforms

Evaluate and effectively communicate complex system problems and resolutions to team and key stakeholders
Requirements
-
CompTIA Security+ certified (or similar certification meeting DoD Directive 8570.01 Certification Requirements)

3+ years of experience supporting Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10/ Server 2012 or greater)

3+ years of experience writing PowerShell or other scripts to automate deployment and configuration of operating systems

3+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing secure Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS) solutions

3+ years of experience in VMware Virtualization
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

1+ years of experience with Linux Operating Systems (RHEL 7 and newer)

Experience with Cisco networking environments

Experience with NetApp and/or other SAN technologies

Experience with McAfee ePO configuration and management

Experience with the management and configuration of Splunk Indexers/Forwarders

Experience with backup and Restore technologies (NetBackup, BackupExec and/or similar)

Experience with networking fundamentals
Conflict Of Interest:
Successful Candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict Of Interest (COI) assessment process., This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required., This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Summary pay range: $96,050 - $129,950
