Senior Software Engineer

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer .NET on behalf of our client in New York City, NY. In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of scalable, cloud-based applications that power predictive marketing and automation solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Marketing, and Engineering to build data-driven platforms that support digital and print marketing initiatives for enterprise clients. 8+ years of experience in software engineering building enterprise-grade applications Strong expertise in .NET and object-oriented programming languages Experience designing and building scalable backend systems Strong knowledge of RESTful API development and integration Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud Platform or similar) Experience with microservices architecture and containerized environments Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Azure DevOps or similar Experience working in Agile environments with Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers Preferred Qualifications Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React or Angular Familiarity with search-optimized data systems (e.g., Elasticsearch or similar) Experience with shell scripting and automation tools Exposure to marketing technology or data-driven personalization platforms Experience working in high-scale, distributed systems
