Job description
We are seeking a hands-on Senior Infrastructure Engineer with deep experience across both cloud, Azure and on-premises environments. This is a project-focused engineering role, not a management position. You will be responsible for designing and executing end-to-end infrastructure projects, often in client-facing environments. The ideal candidate has broad, real-world experience across servers, virtualization, networking, storage, and cloud platforms., * Design and implement hybrid infrastructure solutions (Azure + on-prem)
- Lead and execute server, Active Directory, and file server migrations
- Including DFS/DFSR, replication, coexistence strategies, FSMO roles
- Deploy and manage Azure IaaS environments
- VNets, NSGs, VMs, , hybrid connectivity
- Build and maintain VMware and/or Hyper-V environments
- Clusters, HA/DRS, storage integration
- Perform end-to-end project delivery
- Planning * execution * documentation * handoff
- Implement VDI solutions
- Citrix DaaS, RDS, Azure Virtual Desktop
- Configure network infrastructure
- Firewalls, switching, VLANs, VPNs
- Deploy and manage SAN/NAS storage
- iSCSI, LUN provisioning, redundancy
- Lead email and Microsoft 365 migrations
- Design and implement backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Create clear, usable technical documentation
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in hand-on infrastructure engineering
- Strong experience across both Azure (IaaS, , networking) and On-prem infrastructure (AD, VMware, storage, networking)
- Proven experience leading full lifecycle infrastructure projects
- Deep understanding of :
- Active Directory architecture and migrations
- File server migrations (DFS/DFSR, permissions, cutover strategies)
- Virtualization platforms
- Experience with networking fundamentals
- VLANs, routing, firewalls, VPNs
- Experience with backup/DR solutions (Veeam, Datto, Azure Recovery Services).
- Great verbal & written communication skills
- Team player - excels in team collaboration, Dependable & responsible
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service and problem-solving skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities

- MSP Experience
- Advance level Azure Certifications (Solutions Architect, etc)
- Technical Certification in the above mentioned areas
- Familiarity with the ConnectWise or similar tools
- Physical ability to lift and move 50lbs
