job summary: As the Principal Solutions Architect, you will lead the technical vision and architectural design for the enterprise's digital marketing, analytics, and customer data infrastructure. Acting as the primary technical authority, you will bridge engineering, product, and business teams to design scalable, future-state blueprints that unify data storage, real-time decisioning, and personalization platforms. Your expertise will drive the optimization of our technology stack, ensuring seamless integrations, robust data governance, and maximum ROI.

responsibilities: Technical Leadership & System Design
- Lead the technical vision and design for the organization's overarching digital marketing, analytics, and data infrastructure.
- Develop future-state blueprints for unified data storage, customer management tools, and real-time decisioning engines.
- Act as the primary technical authority, providing governance and strategic direction for enterprise-wide technology initiatives.
Integration & Data Strategy
- Architect seamless integrations connecting advertising technologies, content delivery systems, and personalized user experience tools.
- Design robust frameworks for user identity management, proprietary data utilization, and secure, efficient data flows.
- Enable the effective use of internal data to drive revenue generation and optimize paid media campaigns.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Optimization
- Partner closely with product, engineering, data, and business teams to execute complex, large-scale technology deployments.
- Guide technology selection by evaluating third-party vendors, assessing ROI, and managing the overall cost-efficiency of the tech stack.
- Establish and enforce rigorous standards for system scalability, data governance, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate emerging industry trends, specifically focusing on advancements in artificial intelligence and modern digital ecosystems.
qualifications: Core Experience & Architectural Leadership
*8+ years of professional background in data engineering, marketing technology (MarTech), or customer data environments.
*3+ years dedicated specifically to architecting MarTech solutions, focusing on customer engagement and personalization platforms.
*Proven ability to drive high-level architectural strategy, balancing system scalability with cost optimization.
*Strong strategic capability in vendor evaluation, including leading "build vs. buy" assessments.
Customer Data & Identity Resolution
*Subject matter expert in Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), Customer 360 frameworks, Master Data, and CRM/loyalty architectures.
*Deep understanding of identity resolution methodologies across first-party, third-party, and hybrid models, as well as data matching and segmentation techniques.
*Extensive experience designing and implementing robust frameworks for data governance, user privacy, consent management, and data lineage.
MarTech, AdTech & Engagement Ecosystems
*Track record of designing comprehensive personalization and ML-driven decisioning ecosystems for multi-channel activation.
*Hands-on expertise with enterprise marketing automation tools (Push, SMS, Email) and integrating CMS/DAM systems into the broader customer journey.
*Comprehensive knowledge of the full AdTech/MarTech stack, including paid media strategies, audience activation, and attribution modeling.
*Familiarity with commerce/retail media networks and strategies for monetizing first-party data.
*Working knowledge of industry-standard platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience Cloud, Braze, HubSpot, Google Analytics).
Data Engineering & Cloud Infrastructure
*Proficient in cloud-native environments, with a strong preference for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (AWS or Azure also acceptable).
*Demonstrated experience with modern data architectures, including data lakes, cloud warehouses, and high-volume ingestion systems (both batch and streaming).
*Solid foundation in event-driven architectures, microservices, and API integrations.
*Experience partnering directly with data science teams to successfully operationalize machine learning models.
*Familiarity with modern deployment and automation practices, including DevOps, AIOps, and emerging AI/GenAI applications in marketing tech.
