Job description

Responsible for unique or complex information systems and/or information technology projects across more than one discipline, such as application support, database administration, software quality assurance/quality control, software engineering, network telecommunications, and infrastructure operations of administration, analysis, engineering and design. Provides direction to other IT Administrators on the project in a senior administrator capacity. Considered a technical specialist in a variety of IT administrator disciplines.

  • Responsible for the end-to-end management, configuration, and operational oversight of the PingFederate platform within the Ganges project.
  • Ensures secure, compliant, and highly available identity federation services, supporting both internal and external integrations.
  • Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust authentication, authorization, and user access solutions while maintaining governance and documentation standards.
  • Oversees all aspects of PingFederate platform management, ensuring secure, reliable, and highly available identity federation services.
  • Configuring SAML, OAuth, and OIDC connections.
  • Developing authentication policies.
  • Maintaining certificates and compliance with enterprise security standards.
  • Supporting application integration and troubleshooting.
  • Monitoring performance and implementing alerting.
  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation and governance.
  • collaborating across technical and business teams on design reviews and modernization initiatives., Compensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract-specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience. The compensation displayed for this role is a general guideline based on these factors and is unique to each role. Monetary compensation is one component of ASM's overall compensation and benefits package for employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field or equivalent relevant experience; Master's Degree preferred.
  • 8-15 years of experience in information technology, systems administration or other IT related field.

Other Job Specific Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and products that include Microsoft Windows 7 & 8, Windows Servers, Microsoft Office and SharePoint 2013, Microsoft Lync 2013.
  • Applies standard methodology, techniques, procedures and criteria.
  • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve complex system hardware, software or networking related problems.
  • Ability to plan and coordinate the deployment of new technology and resolve technical problems individually and as a senior project participant.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing and to translate technical terminology into terms understandable to non-technical employees/customers.
  • Ability to consistently meet and exceed expectations and incorporate customer service into all aspects of work.
  • Advanced experience with Citrix, SAN storage systems, VMware (vCenter).
  • Experience with a variety of systems to include VMware, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, vCenter, etc.
  • Experience automating or orchestrating the provisioning of new services.
  • Advanced knowledge of security policies, requirements, and vulnerabilities.
  • Proficient in developing infrastructure-as-a-code solutions for continuous deployment.
