Job description

  • Conduct end-to-end competitive analysis - Take customer bills from competitive cloud providers and translate them into optimized OCI environment recommendations with detailed pricing comparisons
  • Create sales-ready deliverables - Transform complex billing and technical data into clear, compelling presentations that enable productive customer conversations
  • Partner with sales and engineering teams - Collaborate with customers, sales, and engineering stakeholders to develop best-fit recommendations and drive competitive wins
  • Drive operational excellence - Manage service requests efficiently, document outcomes in benchmarking data, and continuously identify opportunities to improve analysis tools, templates, and systems
  • Enable organizational learning - Curate, package, and distribute team insights and best practices across the broader sales and technical organizations, As a Staff Internet Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical/functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction, through on-line/in person sales efforts. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations via the internet and/or in person. Present and articulate Oracle product's strengths, features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Support sales team in online/in-person selling efforts with some supervision. Develop and deliver proposed solution to customers. Approximate percentage of face to face interaction with customers to perform their responsibilities is 10%Disclaimer:

Requirements

Required:

  • Meticulous attention to detail - Accuracy is critical when working with customer billing data and pricing analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills - Expert-level proficiency with pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX, complex IF statements, and data manipulation
  • Analytical problem-solving - Natural ability to deconstruct complex pricing models and understand service-to-service mapping across different cloud platforms
  • Cloud computing fundamentals - Familiarity with cloud concepts including IaaS, PaaS, compute, storage, and networking
  • Communication excellence - Skill in distilling technical complexity into executive-friendly narratives that resonate with sales audiences
  • Process orientation - Comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities

Preferred:

  • Technical proficiency with Python, SQL, or similar data manipulation languages

Benefits & conditions

US: Hiring Range in USD from $35.53 to $56.83 per hour; from: $73,900 to $118,200 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 70/30.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
