Job description
- Design, develop, and optimise computer vision and deep learning models for robotic perception, including object detection, semantic segmentation, pose estimation, visual tracking, and scene understanding.
- Develop perception pipelines using RGB, stereo, depth, and 3D sensor data to support autonomous navigation, localisation, and robotic manipulation.
- Build efficient data processing, annotation, and feature engineering workflows for large-scale image, video, and sensor datasets.
- Deploy and optimise AI models for real-time inference on edge devices and embedded robotic platforms.
- Collaborate with robotics, software, and hardware engineers to integrate computer vision solutions into autonomous robotic systems.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of perception algorithms through experimentation, testing, and performance optimisation.
Requirements
- 2-8 years of experience in Computer Vision, AI Engineering, Machine Learning, Robotics, or a related discipline.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Experience developing and deploying production-grade computer vision or deep learning models.
- Hands-on experience with object detection, image segmentation, image classification, or 3D vision techniques.
- Experience with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or OpenCV.
- Understanding of robotics concepts such as sensor fusion, camera calibration, SLAM, or autonomous navigation is a strong advantage.
Nice to Have
- Experience with ROS or ROS2.
- Familiarity with LiDAR, depth cameras, stereo vision, or multi-camera systems.
- Experience with NVIDIA CUDA, TensorRT, ONNX, or edge AI optimisation.
- Knowledge of visual odometry, localisation, path planning, or robotic manipulation.
- Experience deploying AI models on embedded platforms such as NVIDIA Jetson.
