Job description

Tasks

  • Create concept documents for new ICT platforms.
  • Commission, diagnose, and maintain networks and ICT systems.
  • Assist in the acceptance of new software products with testing documentation., What you can achieve
  • Creation of concept documents to support new ICT platforms
  • Commissioning, diagnosing and maintaining networks and ICT systems
  • Support in the acceptance of new software products by creating test concepts and documentation
  • Conducting feasibility studies as well as setting up and operating demo setups at the customer site.
  • Developing and maintaining system, project and maintenance documentation
  • Customer contact in 2nd and 3rd level support including on-site assignments

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar.
  • Strong knowledge in system engineering and IT architecture.
  • Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities., * Completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering or comparable qualification
  • Profound knowledge in system engineering, IT architecture and hardware/software engineering
  • Extensive experience with network technologies (switching, routing, overlay/underlay, IPv4, IPv6, ...) as well as deep know-how in the use of Linux as a test and network platform.
  • Confident use of modern CI/CD tools and virtualisation environments (GitLab, Git, Jenkins, Ansible, hypervisor technologies, ...)
  • Experience in creating concepts and documentation
  • Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving competence
  • Very good knowledge of German, English level B1, impeccable reputation
  • Several years of professional experience in a similar field
