Software Engineer III, GTI

Google's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another. As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google's needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward., * Design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements for our platform, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure solutions.

• Contribute to the design and implementation of systems to process, analyze, and store massive amounts of threat intelligence data.
• Work closely with security experts to understand their needs and translate them into actionable features.
• Identify opportunities to optimize performance, scalability, and user experience.
• Stay abreast of the latest threats and technologies to ensure our platform remains effective.

Experience driving progress, solving problems, and mentoring more junior team members; deeper expertise and applied knowledge within relevant area., * Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree., * Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
• Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: C/C++, Python, Go, Java.
• Experience working with data pipelines (e.g., MapReduce, Apache Beam, Apache Hadoop, Google Dataflow) or Google Cloud Platform.
