Thales is seeking a Validation & In Engineer to join our team in Madrid. either purely software or combining software and hardware) and their integration in customer environments. Participate in writing and executing the acceptance test plan. Prepare training material for administration and operation of the solution and provide training material to trainers or end-users. Fluent in English (B2+) and Spanish. At least 3 years of experience in QA testing. Manual testing. Test management and bug reporting in JIRA. Executing testing campaigns. Test management, validation & acceptance. Non-functional testing types (performance, load, stress, etc.) Experience with server backend technologies: application servers, databases and web services (SOAP/REST). Testing experience with ATDD or BDD. Integration with Jenkins. Scripting language for automatic tests (e.g., Python). Testing with Docker environments. ELK stack concepts (Kibana, Elasticsearch and Logstash) and possible experience in validation. Deployment and testing in an application server (JBoss/WildFly, WebSphere, GlassFish, etc.). Good knowledge of SQL and database servers (Oracle, SQL Server or MariaDB). Flexible working hours. Remote-friendly - 2/3 days a week working from home.
