Job description
- Design and implement cloud-native platforms on Microsoft Azure.
- Build event-driven architectures using Azure Event Grid and related Azure services.
- Develop scalable data solutions using Azure Cosmos DB.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Azure Container Apps.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM, Bicep, or Terraform.
- Ensure production systems are reliable, secure, scalable, and highly available.
- Monitor platform performance, optimize cost, availability, and resilience.
- Collaborate with development, architecture, and DevOps teams to deliver cloud platform capabilities.
- Implement governance, compliance, and cloud security best practices.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in cloud platform engineering, DevOps, or related roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services.
- Expertise in Azure Event Grid, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Container Apps.
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using ARM, Bicep, or Terraform.
- Strong understanding of microservices and cloud-native architecture.
- Experience with Docker containerization and API management.
- Knowledge of Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
- Solid understanding of high availability, scalability, fault tolerance, and cloud security.
- Exposure to Kubernetes (AKS), Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs, distributed systems, or enterprise cloud migration is an added advantage.
You should possess the ability to:
- Design scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-native solutions.
- Build and manage event-driven architectures.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployments.
- Optimize platform performance, cost, and operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot complex cloud and containerized environments.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical teams.
- Apply DevOps, automation, and cloud governance best practices.
- Support modernization initiatives and cloud transformation projects.
