Job description

**Location:**Amsterdam, Netherlands (Hybrid -- 2 days/week in office)

**Employment Type:**Full-time (FTC)

About the Role

We are hiring for one of our clients and are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join a modern development team in Amsterdam. You will work on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, modern JavaScript frameworks, and AWS cloud technologies.

The ideal candidate has strong backend and frontend development experience, enjoys building high-quality applications, and thrives in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications.

  • Develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and GraphQL.

  • Build responsive frontend applications using React.js and/or Angular.

  • Develop server-side applications using Node.js where required.

  • Integrate applications with AWS cloud services.

  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA engineers, and developers.

  • Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards.

  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve application performance.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of professional Full Stack Development experience.

  • Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.

  • Experience building REST APIs and GraphQL services.

  • Strong frontend experience with React.js and/or Angular.

  • Solid JavaScript development skills.

  • Experience with Node.js.

  • Experience working with AWS.

  • Experience building enterprise-scale web applications.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment in Amsterdam.
