Mobile test automation engineer

• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies covering mobile user journeys, backend integrations, and end-to-end business workflows.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Espresso (Android) and XCUITest (iOS).
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across native and hybrid mobile applications.
• Validate application behavior across multiple Android and iOS devices, operating system versions, and form factors.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to enable continuous quality delivery.
• Perform API and backend testing using Postman, WireMock, and other testing tools to validate complex business data flows.
• Troubleshoot application issues using network debugging tools such as Proxyman and Charles Proxy.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to implement shift-left testing practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Monitor application quality through quality metrics, monitoring, alerting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure applications comply with regulatory requirements, security standards, audit controls, and secure transaction validation.
• Participate in defect analysis, root cause investigations, and quality improvement initiatives., * Develop scalable and maintainable mobile automation frameworks.
• Design comprehensive testing strategies for complex mobile and backend ecosystems.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application quality issues efficiently.
• Validate APIs, backend services, and complex business workflows with high accuracy.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Integrate automated testing seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure compliance with quality, security, and regulatory standards.

• 6-8 years of experience in software quality assurance and mobile test automation.
• Strong expertise in mobile testing strategies covering end-to-end user journeys and backend integrations.
• Hands-on experience with Espresso (Android) and XCUITest (iOS) automation frameworks.
• Experience testing native and hybrid mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms.
• Strong understanding of API testing using Postman and service virtualization tools such as WireMock.
• Experience integrating automated testing into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with debugging and network analysis tools including Proxyman and Charles Proxy.
• Solid understanding of quality engineering practices, including shift-left testing, quality metrics, monitoring, and alerting.
• Knowledge of compliance, regulatory requirements, secure transaction validation, and application security testing.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Experience working within Agile development environments.
