Job description
- Contributing to the design and implementation of cloud platform solutions across Azure, AWS or GCP
- Supporting the deployment and management of containerised applications using Kubernetes and Docker
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate application delivery
- Working with microservices architectures and distributed systems
- Collaborating with development teams to improve developer experience and platform reliability
- Contributing to infrastructure-as-code practices using Terraform and automation scripts
- Supporting integration with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC or SAP RISE environments where applicable
- Troubleshooting platform issues and optimising performance
Requirements
- Day Rate: £600-800 per day (or £250-280 per day depending on experience and engagement terms)
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Domain: Cloud infrastructure · containerisation · CI/CD pipelines · platform engineering, What you could bringMost roles of this type require the following:Must-have
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP) and containerisation (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
- Proficiency with at least one programming or scripting language (Python, Bash, Java, .NET or equivalent)
- Understanding of microservices and distributed systems concepts
- Experience with Linux and/or Windows server environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Nice-to-have
- Experience with ASP.NET, Spring Boot or React
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC or SAP RISE platforms
- Knowledge of data pipelines and data quality practices
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools
- Experience with network infrastructure (F5, DMZ concepts)
- SQL and data query experience
- Power BI or equivalent reporting experience
- BPMN or UML modelling experience
- Relevant security certifications or CSDR compliance knowledge
