Job description
- Managing cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS and GCP, with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
- Deploying, scaling and monitoring containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Collaborating with development teams to improve deployment processes and reduce time-to-market
- Automating routine operational tasks using scripting languages such as Bash and Python
- Supporting system reliability, security and performance across distributed systems
- Troubleshooting infrastructure issues and implementing solutions to prevent downtime
- Documenting infrastructure configurations and operational runbooks
Requirements
What you could bringMost roles of this type require the following:Must-have
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, ideally Azure or AWS
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and pipeline design
- Experience with containerisation technologies (Docker and Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (Bash, Python, or similar)
- Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification, or equivalent demonstrable expertise
Nice-to-have
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions (Power BI, ELK stack)
- Experience in regulated environments or with compliance frameworks (CSDR, QMS)
- Additional cloud certifications or relevant training
