We are building teams of talented data specialists who can transform raw data into actionable insights, supporting key business decisions across technology, engineering, life sciences and financial services.Roles of this type may sit within collaborative teams where you would partner with stakeholders across the business to gather requirements, analyse data quality, and deliver pipelines that drive operational excellence. You could contribute to projects where data-driven insights directly influence strategic and financial outcomes.What you would doTypical responsibilities could include:

  • Gathering and clarifying data requirements from business stakeholders
  • Analysing data quality and identifying gaps or inconsistencies in datasets
  • Designing and supporting data pipeline alignment with business objectives
  • Engaging with stakeholders to translate business needs into data solutions
  • Conducting financial and operational analysis to support decision-making
  • Documenting data specifications and ensuring pipeline performance
  • Collaborating with technical teams to implement data solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related quantitative field
  • Demonstrated experience in data requirements gathering and analysis
  • Working knowledge of data pipeline design and data quality assessment
  • Proficiency with SQL and data manipulation tools such as Excel and Power BI
  • Experience conducting financial or operational analysis
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to work with distributed systems, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP) and relevant APIs

Nice-to-have experience includes:

  • Familiarity with Python or Bash scripting
  • Understanding of CI/CD practices and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC environments
  • Knowledge of BPMN or UML for process documentation
