Requirements
- 4-7 years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with Databricks - including Unity Catalog, workspace administration, cluster policies, service principals, and permission models
- Solid AWS experience - IAM, S3, EC2, VPC - with experience integrating cloud services with data platforms
- Working experience with Terraform and scripting in Python and/or Bash
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins; familiarity with Databricks asset bundle deployment workflows
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work effectively within a directed, team-based environment
What Would Be Great
- Experience with the Databricks SDK (Python) and Databricks REST APIs
- Familiarity with FinOps or cost management practices for cloud data platforms
- Background supporting MLOps patterns or data science/ML workloads on Databricks
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Grafana, or Datadog
- Knowledge of Unity Catalog best practices or enterprise data governance frameworks
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
