Job description

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to provide onsite technical support to clients in a professional, efficient, and customer-focused manner. This role supports help desk operations, handles troubleshooting, and serves as a key resource for client support help desk issues., * Provide onsite installation, maintenance, and repair of client and company equipment

  • Serve as the technical resource for scheduled client support appointments
  • Act as the onsite point of contact for clients
  • Support the help desk queue as needed and resolve technical issues
  • Communicate with clients to ensure timely follow-up and resolution of issues
  • Participate in on-call and after-hours support rotation, including weekends
  • Document work performed, including ticket updates, time entries, and closure notes
  • Maintain and update internal technical documentation
  • Continue building knowledge of support procedures, products, and services
  • Recommend process improvements and procedure updates
  • Deliver strong customer service and exceed client expectations
  • Follow company processes and support applicable regulatory requirements
  • Participate in internal and external technical strategy and consulting meetings

Requirements

  • Degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of related experience working independently in the field or at client sites
  • 5+ years of IT experience
  • 1-5 years of experience in an MSP environment preferred
  • Certifications or equivalent experience in A+, Security+, and Network+
  • Strong troubleshooting and issue-resolution skills
  • Experience with: PC hardware, Macs, printers, scanners, peripherals, mobile devices, and servers
  • Windows PC and Server operating systems
  • Citrix, VMware, MS Office products, and Mac OS
  • Terminal server environments, networking, LAN, WAN, and UTMs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Enjoy working with people, solving problems, and learning new things
  • Must have a reliable personal vehicle and a valid Georgia Driver's License
  • Must be willing to travel up to 50%

  • Professional, climate-controlled indoor office setting
  • Shared workspace with frequent in-person interaction
  • Regular on-site presence required during business hours
  • Daily use of company-provided hardware and office infrastructure

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to use a computer, keyboard, mouse, printer, and other office equipment
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move IT equipment, including servers and UPS batteries, weighing 50+ pounds
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach in tight spaces such as under desks or in server racks
  • Good hand-eye coordination for cable work, hardware handling, and use of hand tools
  • Ability to stand, walk, and work in awkward positions for extended periods
  • Shared workspace with frequent in-person interaction
  • Regular on-site presence required during business hours
  • Daily use of company-provided hardware and office infrastructure, * IT: 5 years (Required)
  • Field service: 3 years (Required)
  • Computer hardware: 5 years (Required)
  • Software troubleshooting: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • CompTIA A+ (Preferred)
