The Level 3 IT Technician is the highest tier of technical support within the organization, typically handling the most complex and critical IT issues that cannot be resolved at Tier 1 or Tier 2.

Must be able to implement design changes, fix bugs, or make infrastructure-level updates.

Provide routine service and maintenance on printer equipment.

Troubleshoot and repair print equipment and provide excellent customer service and support.

Manage schedules and customer emergencies.

Analytical thinking skills along with problem solving skills are essential.
REQUIREMENTS:

This job requires a valid Drivers License and reliable transportation.

At least 3-5 years experience required.
Core Technical Experience
- Years of Service: Usually requires 3-5+ years of hands-on IT support experience.
- Tier Progression: Proven track record of successfully moving through Level 1 and Level 2 helpdesk roles.
- Project Management: Experience leading system migrations, server deployments, or network overhauls.
Top Certifications
- CompTIA: Advanced certs like Network+, Security+, or CySA+ (Cybersecurity Analyst).
- Cisco: CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or CCNP (Professional) for complex networking.
- Microsoft: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent modern workplace credentials.
- Cloud & Virtualization: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or VMware Certified Professional (VCP). [1]
Specialized Knowledge
- Enterprise Infrastructure: Mastery of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise-level backups.
- Network Engineering: Deep understanding of routing protocols, VLANs, firewalls, and VPN setups.
- Virtualization: Expertise managing Hyper-V, VMware, or cloud-based server environments.
- Cybersecurity: Ability to detect vulnerabilities, apply security patches, and respond to network breaches.
Soft Skills
- Root-Cause Analysis: Ability to troubleshoot abstract, undocumented, and unique technical glitches.
