Job description

You will serve as a Senior Full Stack Engineer who will play a key role on a Scrum team and within Digital Platforms Technology. You will work closely with the Squad Lead, Scrum Master, Systems Analyst, Quality Assurance, Architects, Tech Lead and other Developers to craft, build, test, and deliver the features that make up Fidelity's Digital experiences., Our goal within Digital Platforms is to build a user experience that delights our customers, anticipates their needs and matches services or solutions to support effective decision making. Responsible for delivering new products and services that will greatly improve the digital experience for our Workplace Solutions customers!

Requirements

  • 7+ years of proven experience in Client-side development using Angular, jQuery, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node, NPM, HTML/CSS, RxJS
  • Proficiency in Client-side unit testing frameworks and test runners like Jest, Jasmine and Karma
  • 4+ years of proven experience with server-side development with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Camel, JMS, Apache Kafka and Persistence frameworks (JPA/Hibernate)Hands on experience using AWS services S3, EC2, Lambda, CFT
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, Deploying applications in DevOps environment
  • Experience with API Design & Development and Microservices Architecture (Java, REST, Graph QL, NodeJS, Swagger)
  • Solid Understanding of E2E ALM tools like JIRA, gitStash, FishEye, Crucible, Maven, Jenkins, uDeploy.
  • Comfortable with Code Quality/Coverage tools (Sonar or equivalent)
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and work in fast paced environment.
  • Ability to think out of box and design end-to-end solutions.
  • Passion and intellectual curiosity to learn new technologies and business areas!
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both through written and verbal channels.
  • Experience in financial services applications is a plus
  • BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience required
  • Experience collaborating in a team environment to develop, deploy, and support key applications and features
  • A proven understanding of the Agile software development methodology
  • Appreciation for and alignment to standard methodologies regarding object-oriented design, coding standards, RESTful service consumption and integration, common design patterns, secure application development, and test coverage

Your experience with the following will be a plus:

  • DevOps concepts governing SCM, continuous integration, monitoring, and deployment processes
  • Docker containerization and AWS cloud deployment and application management via the AWS console
  • AWS certification(s)
  • The W3C's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and their implementation
