Job description

A growing healthcare organization is looking to hire a Network Analyst to support a distributed, hospital-based environment. The network environment spans enterprise Cisco infrastructure and this role includes both day-to-day operations and active build projects across facilities. They are looking for someone with strong Network support skills, who can configures switches, set up VLANs, and answer escalated tickets., * 50% Cisco IOS configuration, VLAN management, and switch deployment

  • 30% Network troubleshooting and packet capture analysis
  • 20% Ticketing queue management and documentation in ServiceNow

Daily Responsibilities

  • 60% Hands On: Reactive network support, troubleshooting incidents, and working tickets from queue
  • 30% Project Work: Supporting facility renovation and new suite buildouts, handling the network component from switch staging through final configuration
  • 10% Team Collaboration: Coordinating with internal teams and communicating directly with hospital-based end users

Requirements

  • 2 to 7 years of experience in a network analyst or network support role
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS: image upgrades, interface configuration, and VLAN management
  • Proficiency troubleshooting network issues at both the layer 2 and layer 3 level
  • Ability to perform and interpret packet captures as part of network diagnostics
  • Experience working out of a ticketing queue in a structured support environment
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or a comparable ITSM platform
  • Comfortable with physical network work: unboxing switches, applying IOS code, and loading template-based configurations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work directly with end users in a clinical or hospital setting

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Cisco CCNA certification
  • Exposure to network infrastructure buildouts or renovation projects
  • Experience supporting multi-site or distributed enterprise environments
  • Familiarity with healthcare IT environments or regulated network infrastructure
