Job description

We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to join an operations team responsible for the reliability, security and day-to-day operation of a Kubernetes platform.

You'll play a key role in maintaining an available cloud platform, supporting production environments, driving automation and making sure operational excellence across multiple environments., This is an excellent opportunity to join a team responsible for operating and evolving a modern Kubernetes platform supporting critical applications.

Requirements

  • Strong production experience with Kubernetes (multi-cluster environments)
  • Expertise in ArgoCD, GitOps, Helm and Kustomize
  • Experience with Docker, HashiCorp Vault and container registries
  • Strong knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Tempo and OpenTelemetry
  • Solid understanding of networking, Kubernetes security (RBAC, Network Policies) and TLS
  • Experience with Bash scripting and infrastructure automation
  • Proven background in platform operations, incident management and production support
  • Comfortable participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation

Nice to have: Experience with Kong API Gateway, Redis, PostgreSQL, MongoDB or Harness.io

Benefits & conditions

One of our important clients is currently looking for a Platform Engineer with Kubernetes and GitOps based in Brussels for a 12-month contract. Day rate is negotiable.
