Requirements

Software Engineer (f/m/d) - Workload: 100 Join Axpo as a Full Stack Software Engineer and help shape the future of the energy industry. Youll work on innovative solutions and cutting-edge software products that empower our customers to tackle the challenges of the energy transition. Be part of a team that values clean code, simple design, scalability, and continuous improvement. What you will do: Rapidly prototype and develop full-stack applications, from frontend interfaces to backend APIs and databases. Design, implement, and maintain backend APIs and services for reliable production use. Build self-service tools for our data platform to empower internal teams. Diagnose and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability issues. Share best practices, mentor peers, and help establish engineering standards for code quality, testing, and deployment. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. At least 4 years of experience in software engineering. Strong Python skills with backend/web development experience (e.g., Flask, FastAPI). Proven experience designing and building APIs, services, and backend architectures. Familiarity with testing practices, Git, CI/CD, package management, and containerization (e.g., Docker). Experience contributing to open-source projects (code contributions, reviews, or maintenance). Quick learner, collaborative, and proactive in sharing knowledge across teams and projects. Ideally, experience in data engineering and Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform). Fluent in English.
