IT & Digitalization Manager Are you a seasoned IT professional with a proven track record in leading complex IT operations and driving successful digital transformation strategies? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT and Digitalization Manager to take on a leadership role in overseeing our entire IT Department, managing IT infrastructure, and driving cutting-edge digitalization initiatives across the organization. You will join STS, a key player in the global renewable energy sector. With operations spanning sixteen countries across North America, Europe, and Asia, our teams comprise individuals, much like yourself, who are passionate about renewable energies, technology, quality, and sustainability. As our IT & Digitalization Manager, you will lead the IT department and take ownership of the strategic direction, development, and implementation of IT projects and infrastructure. You will oversee the management of IT systems and services, ensuring they align with the company's business objectives while driving innovation and efficiency through digital transformation initiatives. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the execution of large-scale IT projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving the deployment of new IT systems and applications. In addition, you will ensure that our IT systems, tools, and processes adhere to the highest ITIL practices and standards, providing scalable solutions that support our business goals and enhance operational performance. This role will see you shaping the future of our IT landscape, driving business growth through technological advancements, and leading a team of professionals to meet and exceed organizational IT and digitalization goals. Manage company IT equipment (computers, servers, networks) and ensure secure, compliant, and efficient data systems. Provide global technical support, training, and documentation to optimize IT use and enhance user satisfaction. Monitor, upgrade, and modernize IT infrastructure, implementing advanced technologies such as cloud and AI. Lead the development, maintenance, and improvement of software applications, ensuring intuitive UI/UX and alignment with business needs. Oversee IT and digitalization projects from conception to delivery, managing scope, timelines, budgets, and resources. Drive the company's digital transformation strategy, aligning IT initiatives with long-term business goals. Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, conduct audits, and establish incident response protocols to mitigate risks. Ensure compliance with global data privacy regulations in collaboration with Legal & Governance teams. Manage vendors, contracts, and IT procurement to optimize efficiency and value. Lead and mentor IT teams across multiple regions, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and skill development. Prepare and present reports to leadership on IT performance, digital transformation progress, data security, and budget matters.
Requirements
Collaborate with departments to identify IT needs, deliver tailored solutions, and implement project management tools to streamline communication. Education & Certifications: Bachelor's in information systems/computer science (Master's preferred) plus certifications in Project Management (PMP/PRINCE2), ITIL, Cybersecurity (CISSP), Cloud (AWS/Azure), and Agile/Scrum. Professional Experience: 8+ years in IT leadership roles within multinational organizations, including 3+ years managing global IT teams and delivering large-scale transformation projects. Digital Transformation: Proven track record leading digital transformation initiatives aligned with corporate goals. Cybersecurity & Data Management: Strong expertise in cybersecurity frameworks, risk mitigation, compliance, and managing large-scale data systems. Skilled in global IT infrastructure management (cloud, networks, data centers) and software/application development (SDLC, UI/UX, low-code platforms). Project & Program Management: Proficient in Agile/Waterfall methodologies and tools (Jira, Trello, MS Project) for managing complex IT projects. Knowledge of programming (Java, SQL, Python), API management, ERP/CRM (SAP, Oracle, Salesforce), and data management tools. Effective at presenting IT strategies to executives, managing stakeholders, mentoring teams, and providing user training/support in English (advanced proficiency; Contract type: Permanent Type: Full Time, Hybrid Reports to: Senior Vice-President, Enterprise Transformation
