Job description

Our tool chain centred around our Computer Aided Design (CAD) Solution - Autodesk & SAP S/4HANA core supports our business units in developing individually engineered and innovative products that provide superior value to our customers. As an IT Business Analyst, you will be responsible for building and supporting new business solutions based on latest technologies, e.g. Autodesk Revit and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC). You work within agile & cross-functional Global IT and business teams to define requirements as well as develop convincing solution scenarios. You plan, build, and run the IT solutions that are used to develop our innovative customer-specific offerings. This includes contribution to IT solution architectures and designs, custom development, and successful delivery of IT projects. You ensure reliability, integrity, and long-term sustainability of our IT solutions. You closely collaborate with our vendors, provide 2nd/3rd level support as well as continuously improve features and integration between systems. This role requires a combination of a user-oriented mindset and solid implementation skills.

You enjoy working side by side with partners, colleagues, and teams on tough problems and are highly effective. Furthermore, you thrive in a dynamic environment with multiple changing priorities. You like a proactive outward communication and technical leadership and never shy away from a challenge.

  • Master's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics/Chemical/Civil Engineering with passion about IT (proven records of IT experience)
  • Expertise in CAD tools and/or our engineering tool chain - Autodesk Revit, ACC and other CAD systems, BIM, or a related field
  • You have general coding (scripting) knowledge in ABAP, Java/JavaScript, SQL or any other programming language
  • An end-to-end process understanding in the field of product engineering and/or product data management
  • Willingness and proven ability to learn
  • Courage to challenge and desire to improve things
  • Strong communication skills (English is a must)
  • Experience as a Business Analyst in a PLM / CAD or BIM environment is a plus
