Senior Deployment and Integration Engineer

• Provide 3rd line expert support for operational ATM systems, including incident investigation and root-cause analysis
• Collaborate with offshore development teams to diagnose and resolve complex issues
• Support deployment and maintenance of training, test, and operational environments
• Act as an engineering focal point during integration and validation activities with operational end users
• Deploy and integrate hardware and software into customer and internal environments
• Produce technical documentation, including procedures, high-level designs, and network designs
• Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders and help identify improvement opportunities

• Experience with integration testing of software systems
• Strong background in a formal IT infrastructure environment
• Linux experience, ideally RHEL
• Virtualisation experience with VMware and/or KVM
• Log analysis and troubleshooting experience
• Scripting experience with Bash/shell and/or Python
• Networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, multicast, and routing
• Experience using network troubleshooting tools such as tcpdump and Wireshark
• Experience with software installation and fault-finding
• Automation and provisioning experience with Ansible or Puppet
• Confident communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics to mixed technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong customer-facing skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
• Willingness to travel occasionally as business needs require
• Desirable: container experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
• Desirable: experience working across highly distributed teams
