We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Epic Application Analyst to join our innovative healthcare technology team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining Epic electronic health record (EHR) systems to optimize clinical workflows and enhance patient care. Your expertise will drive seamless integration of Epic applications within our IT infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, security, and performance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of healthcare IT, leveraging your technical skills to support enterprise solutions and improve healthcare delivery., * Collaborate with clinical and technical teams to design, develop, and implement Epic applications tailored to organizational needs.
- Manage system configuration, customization, and solution architecture to ensure optimal performance and usability.
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to resolve issues promptly and maintain high availability of Epic systems.
- Coordinate with IT infrastructure teams to ensure robust integration with cloud services such as AWS and Azure, including load balancing, VPNs, firewalls, and network security protocols.
- Maintain version control and configuration management for Epic modules using industry-standard tools like Git or equivalent systems.
- Conduct system hardening, vulnerability assessments, and security audits aligned with information security best practices.
- Support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for software updates and enhancements within the SDLC framework.
- Provide technical troubleshooting support for complex issues involving APIs (RESTful/SOAP), web services, and system interoperability standards like HL7 or FHIR.
- Assist in enterprise solutions implementation by integrating Epic with other platforms such as Salesforce, Pegasystems, or custom applications using APIs or microservices architecture.
- Document system design, workflows, and technical procedures following industry standards for future reference and compliance., * Manager is looking for a candidate that can support AP Claims, CRM, and a bit of UM. She would like to move quickly due to the upcoming LOA.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of service-oriented architecture (SOA), solution architecture, and enterprise solutions implementation.
- Proficiency in SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL), NoSQL databases (MongoDB), MySQL, PostgreSQL for data management and reporting purposes.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components including operating systems (Windows/Linux), virtualization (VMware/ESXi), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Experience with application development languages such as JavaScript, C#, Python, Java, Ruby on Rails,.NET frameworks, along with scripting languages like Bash or Shell scripting.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools; version control systems like Git; system hardening; vulnerability management; threat intelligence; and system architecture design.
- Knowledge of network protocols including DNS, DHCP, VPNs; firewall configuration; load balancing; Web services; RESTful APIs; SOAP; GPO; DHCP; DNS; Web services; VPNs; firewall management; and cloud security measures.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues related to computer networking, system administration, application debugging, and software implementation processes following SDLC principles.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles including vulnerability assessment, threat management, information security policies, and system hardening techniques.
- Experience working within Agile methodologies to deliver scalable solutions efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality assurance.
