Job description

The Software Developer and Integrator is responsible for developing, integrating, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining software applications that support simulation and software development environments. This role involves integrating software releases, performing system testing, resolving integration issues, managing source code, supporting DevOps processes, and collaborating with development teams to ensure reliable software deployment and operation. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Integrate software releases into development and DevOps environments.
  • Develop and maintain software using C++ and Lua.
  • Troubleshoot software integration and deployment issues.
  • Analyze software dependencies and system relationships.
  • Conduct integration testing and document test results.
  • Create and update integration test documentation.
  • Perform software hotfixes and build updates for critical issues.
  • Merge source code changes using Git/GitLab.
  • Debug, maintain, and improve existing software applications.
  • Collaborate with software development and DevOps teams.
  • Support software deployment and configuration processes.
  • Assist with software integration planning and implementation.
  • Work in both Windows and Linux development environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant software development experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of C++ programming experience.
  • Experience developing with Lua.
  • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience using Git/GitLab for source code management.
  • Experience troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining, and improving software.
  • Strong understanding of software integration and testing.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment.
  • Experience with Ansible, Jira, networking, integration testing, or SAFe methodologies is preferred.
