Job description
As an eCommerce Analyst, you'll create, optimize and maintain engaging digital site and category experiences that drive customer engagement and business performance for our growing Best Buy business. You'll partner cross-functionally with Category Management, Marketplace and Digital teams to improve the online shopping experience through data-driven recommendations and continuous optimization. A successful candidate brings strong analytical thinking, curiosity and a proactive approach to solving problems in a fast-changing environment. Best Buy Ads is a key part of our company's business strategy, as we deliver business results by partnering with leading brands to captivate audiences, drive engagement and provide measurable impact.
This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work on site Monday through Thursday at the Best Buy corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota. You can work virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location on Friday. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.
What you'll do
- Analyze site performance and customer behavior to identify opportunities to improve traffic, conversion and customer experience
- Audit and optimize product content, category pages and digital experiences
- Support testing, enhancement and deployment of new digital capabilities and experiences
- Improve product discoverability through navigation, search optimization and product content enhancements
- Leverage customer insights, reviews and feedback to drive digital experience improvements
- Partner across teams to resolve digital experience issues and support category priorities
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in eCommerce, merchandising, analytics or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience interpreting data and developing actionable recommendations
- Familiarity with digital merchandising, site optimization or customer experience initiatives
