Job description
The HNJ Division provides sensitive command, control, communications, intelligence, and networks (C3I&N) and battle management (BM) capabilities across a broad range of mission areas. The Division supports Air Force Special Access Programs (SAPs), other Department of Defense (DoD) units, and national-level agencies that require rapid fielding of advanced capabilities to counter emerging cyber and operational threats to U.S. national security. This position requires an accomplished systems engineering professional with deep experience managing complex, heterogeneous systems environments, developing technical roadmaps, and advising senior government stakeholders. Responsibilities: In this Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) role, you will provide expert-level support to Department of Defense (DoD) programs by assisting government leadership with decision-making, planning, and execution throughout the acquisition lifecycle. You will apply your technical and/or professional expertise to ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations, contribute to mission success, and help deliver critical capabilities to the warfighter. Duties include, but not limited to: Craft, develop, implement, and execute innovative systems engineering practices, processes, and deliver exceptional technical products. Manage, analyze, and trace functional and non-functional system requirements, test cases, and architecture components. Accurately articulate technical issues, risks, and recommendations to government leadership. Recommend and implement improvements to systems engineering processes to enhance mission effectiveness. Perform data analysis and translate strategic business objectives into long-term technical roadmaps. Review the feasibility of new and existing project requirements for alignment with program goals. Develop and present detailed technical presentations and recommendations to senior management. Demonstrate advanced competency in systems engineering across multiple large-scale projects and acquisition programs. Support integration of system-level solutions within Agile, iterative, and hybrid acquisition frameworks. Requirements
Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility Education: Master's Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline Years of Experience: 18+ years of relevant FGPA experience. Certifications: N/A Preferred Qualifications Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance with current SAP/SAR access Education: PhD in a technical or engineering discipline Years of Experience: 20+ years supporting DoD or Intelligence Community acquisition programs Certifications: INCOSE CSEP or equivalent systems engineering certification preferred Technical Skills Comprehensive knowledge of SEAM (Systems Engineering Assessment Model) and Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) best practices Strong understanding of DoD acquisition processes and lifecycle management from either a government or prime contractor perspective Experience applying Agile acquisition principles in engineering and technical environments Familiarity with Information Technology Acquisition and Cyber Operations * Experience with Tactical Data Links (TDL), Open Architectures, and Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) Demonstrated ability to develop enterprise-level technical roadmaps and conduct system feasibility assessments Interpersonal Skills Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief senior leadership Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities Effective leadership in cross-functional and classified environments Ability to manage competing priorities while ensuring mission objectives are met

Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as the Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
